The OECD publishes twice yearly its detailed assessment of the economic situation and outlook.  As well, two updates on the very near term outlook are made for GDP and inflation for the major economies. 

The analysis and projections inform the Secretariat views on the macroeconomic policy requirements over the short term and the key structural policy challenges that bear on economic performance. Member country specific recommendations and projections are provided in a set of country notes.  In less detail, the major non-member economies are also examined.
