Recent work has not only studied how financial market framework conditions support growth through innovation and investment, but has also looked at the more general interaction between saving, investment and consumption. Furthermore, financial market integration in the euro area is being studied.

Other work analysed the use of financial market indicators and the role of asset prices for monetary policy, as well as the impact of public debt managment on financial markets.
