Agricultural Market Information System

The OECD and FAO contribute actively to the Agricultural Market Information System (AMIS), an inter-agency platform that seeks to improve food market transparency and policy responses to ensure greater food security. AMIS assesses global food supplies of the principal trading countries of agricultural commodities and provides a platform to co-ordinate policy action in times of market uncertainty.
